These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by GRANT IOT LLC ("we," "us," or "our") through grantiot.com. By using our services you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Grant IoT provides IoT-based remote monitoring and alerting services for business clients. Our platform collects data from wireless sensors and delivers notifications to authorized contacts via various alert channels.

2. Supplemental Monitoring Disclaimer

Our services are intended to supplement existing monitoring and operational procedures. Grant IoT monitoring and alerting services should not be used as the sole monitoring system for any application, and are not suitable as the primary safeguard for critical applications where failure could result in the loss of life, bodily injury, or significant property damage. Use of our services for such purposes is entirely at your own risk. Grant IoT assumes no liability for outcomes resulting from reliance on our services as a primary or sole monitoring solution.

3. Wireless Technology and Reliability

Our services rely on wireless radio frequency (RF) technology to transmit sensor data. As with all wireless systems, signal reliability may be affected by physical obstructions, distance, interference, environmental conditions, hardware limitations, and other factors outside our control. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free transmission of sensor data or delivery of alerts. Missed or delayed alerts may occur. Our services should be understood and used with this limitation in mind.

4. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, infrastructure issues, or circumstances beyond our control may result in temporary service interruptions. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms are agreed upon between Grant IoT and the client prior to service commencement. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service for non-payment. Prepaid service fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Termination and Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate service to any client at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Clients may terminate service at any time by providing written notice to contact@grantiot.com.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Grant IoT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Mobile Messaging Terms

By providing a phone number and consenting to receive SMS alerts, you agree to receive automated text messages from Grant IoT. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify clients of material changes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
